  • Fourth Graduation Ceremony - 2016 : We are glad to inform that the 4th Graduation Day is scheduled tentatively on first week of October 2016 at PPG Institute of Technology. The date of the fourth graduation day shall be intimated shortly. Candidates who have successfully completed UG / PG programmes offered in PPG Institute of Technology and PPG Business School during April/May 2015 examinations will receive the Degree/Medals in person on the Graduation Day. 1. Do you follow your own Syllabus?

No. The Business school is affiliated to Anna University and we follow the syllabus and curriculum pattern of Anna University.

2. What about approval and accreditation of the Business school? Is it approved by some competent / Govt. body?

The Business school is approved by some AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) and affiliated to Anna University.

4. Is your campus Wi-Fi enabled?

Yes. The whole campus is Wi-Fi enabled to enable students to work in a comfort zone and to facilitate them to become computer savvy. And also, the whole campus is under the coverage of CCTV Cameras .

5. What are the specializations that you offer in an MBA?

HR, Marketing, Finance, System and Production are the four areas of specialization being offered here.

6. How to apply for MBA?

The first step is to buy the application, fill it and submit in the office; you will be called for a written test and personal interview; successful candidates will be intimated and within 7 days of the intimation , the fees has to be paid.

7. When can I get admissions forms?

It is issued throughout the year; you can get it in person or by post on payment of Rs.500/-

8. What is the last date for submitting admission forms?

It will be displayed in the web from time to time.

9. How will I come to know if I am selected?

You will be intimated through mail and SMS; you can also call up and find out from the college office.

10. The application asks me to supply an email address. How important is this?

Very much important! Email is the main way we communicate with you throughout the admissions season. This includes, among other things, the initial acknowledgment that we received your application, information about our Application Status and whether you need to supply us with any missing information or documents to complete your application. Please be sure that the email address you supply is functional and check it often.

11. I have not taken any classes in a number of years; can I still apply to PPG?

You may still apply to PPG, but keep in mind that it is very unusual for PPG to admit students who do not present strong academic performance.

12. Who is eligible to pursue an MBA?

The eligibility criterion for pursuing an MBA is a minimum of 3 years of bachelor's degree with a 50 percent from a recognized university/institute.

13. Is there any age bar for pursuing an MBA?

Just like the timing, there is no age bar for pursuing an MBA. Any age is good to pursue one. Of course one needs to choose a program that is in keeping with the requirements of the career at that particular age.

14. What is the benefit of pursuing an MBA for a fresher?

Simply speaking, an MBA acts as an enhancer to your graduate degree adding actual marketplace perspective and gives you a launch pad to the corporate world. It brings together economists, humanitarians, engineers, accountants, medical practitioners etc. under one roof, instills in them the business and management skills and makes them industry ready. It does not change the basic skill set but rather enhances it. Thus if your graduate degree gives you direction, an MBA is your passport to the corporate world.

15. How can working professionals gain from an MBA?

16. What about out-station students- Is there any Hostel facility?

The college has well-furnished hostels within the campus; there are separate hostels for boys and girls. There is a mess attached to serve sumptuous meals at a reasonable price.

17. Is there any fee waiver, merit scholarship?

An Early bird offer of Rs.5, 000 given all those who pay an advance of Rs.10, 000 and reserve their seat; for the Candidates with CGP above 9.00 , full fees is waived and they can study for free; the fee waiver is available even in successive semesters, if CGP is maintained above 9.00 in the university exams.
